Real Acton Heroes is a doll manufacture of popular shows from Star Wars to Legend of Zelda (LInk) but don’t get these mixed up with the dolls hanging in your grandmas house. This Saber comes from Fate/Zero that came with a bonus summoning circle for first release buyers. What drove me to like this Saber she comes with more than one face pallet, which isn’t very common for Real Action Heroes.

The Real Action Heroes dolls are more like big action figures since they have ball joints and double jointed elbows that allow them for more of an array of poses. What makes these dolls different is under the skin is a frame or the skeleton for the back, shoulders, hips and head to move more freely. (Read more…)

Accel World: Anime and Figure review.

Accel-World

Who doesn’t like gaming? I mean who wouldn’t like it when gaming was done at any time and could be accessed from a unit around your neck (Neuro Link) that also acts for just about everything else in daily life. Accel World gives you that and a bit more, meet Haruyuki your typical bullied short fat high school student, but looks can be deceiving! In the vast world on the internet Haruyuki remains undefeated in the game of Squash!! Hot headed fireball throwing mage!

Tales of Vesperia could be argued as the best “Tales” game to come out and is one of my favorite games of this series and of the female characters Rita Morido is my favorite. Alter has also made two other characters, Yuri and Flynn but soon to release Raven later this year. I don’t have a large collection of PVC figures so i tend to be picky when it comes to them so when Rita was released I was late to jump on the band wagon and missed out on getting her, (Read more…)

BRS – Black Rock Shooter Animation Figma

With a growing popularity Black?Rock Shooter (BRS) has been seen as a few different Figmas in the past and with the release of Black?Rock Shooter The Animation, yet another BRS makes it’s way to the Figma line but this one is a bit different.  1st off the jacket, if you didn’t know better you would think it’s made out of rubber since it’s flexible, also the tail coats have independent joins to them allowing for posing or dynamic action stances. Rinon Loves Ramen

You might be double taking right now after you read the byline, yes it’s true I’m writing up a figure review! This is for Mediacom Toy’s Vinyl Collective Doll collection. If you have seen the Kita! Anime Podcast you probably know by now that I’m a huge fan of Ano Natsu De Matteru. One of the most well known characters in the show is Ichika’s ship avatar Rinon.

I couldn’t miss the chance at getting this figure and pre-ordered it the instance I saw it. Coming in at almost 8 inches tall she’s a pretty big figure. The figure only has two moving parts, Rinon’s hands. All you can do with her hands is rotate them up or down. While not as posable as some of the figures you see Deedo doing you just can say no tho this adorable figure. There are no accessories that come with Rinon, in the box is just the figure and it’s big enough not to require a stand. (Read more…)

Shirai Kuroko – Figma Review

Adding one more to my Railgun/Index Figma line comes Shirai Kuroko. This figure is bundled with the PSP visual novel To Aru Kagaku no Railgun PSP game and sadly i don’t read enough Japanese to play these games but would love to if i was able to, but due to my illiteracy to the Japanese writing i’ll stick with the figure for now. BLK – Huke Selected Works and BRSB Figma!

A few months ago i posted a re-review for a Art Book called BLK. I just received this and it’s just beautiful!! 240 pages of art work by Huke who designed the characters for Steins; Gate and Black Rock Shooter. The book it self is hard bound with a cover sleeve of some featured art work from the book and a small insert of BRSB for what i think is a freebie of some sort. Flipping through some of the pages i was very impressed on the deal of work that went into these pages of art, so much that i had to share this with everyone. There are some i think original art by Huke of some Mechas, Armored Troops and some characters i don’t think i recognize from any one anime or manga so if anyone has picked up this art book let me know if you happen to figure it out.
