Here we have Haiyore! Nyaruko-san an anime based on the myths of Cthulhu and all of his minions invading earth for, yes you guessed it, earth entertainment but more importantly the Japanese entertainment.  But fear not Nyarlathotep (or Nyaruko for short) is sent to earth to defend ageist these foes and protect Mahiro (a boy who’s being targeted) to be sold on the black market.

This show is down right hilarious if you just sit down and watch it but remember you can’t have a good show without good characters so lets go through them.

Mahiro and Yoriko Yasaka. 

Mahiro is just an ordinary high school kid that would like to be left along and live in peace, that would have happened if he wasn’t being targeted to be sold on the space black market. Mahiro is really useless as a character but his only redeeming ability is using a fork as a deadly weapon which you can tell his mom thought him. Now Yoriko works as a assistant to a archaeologist researcher and is gone from the house a lot but also has a hobby of collecting old video game consuls plus kinda has a son complex.

Nyarlathotep – the creeping chaos always smiling beside you.

A employee of the Planetary Defense Organization to defend it from a criminal organization that’s involved in space drugs, galaxy contraband, slave trade and to protect Mahiro and keep her personal feelings and tasks separated. (like she would do that)

But it seems in the whole galaxy Earth has the best “Pleasures” or Entertainment and is why the gods of the Cthulhu Mythos come down but specifically Anime, Games and Manga.

Kuuko – Cthuga, the Great Fire. 

Arch nemesis of Nyarlathotepians and childhood friend of Nyaruko that have fought many battles in the past with no real victor.

But Kuuko has one weakness to Nyaruko and that would be that she’s in love with Nyaruko and has been since they were in kindergarten but since Nyaruko doesn’t feel the same for her it tends to be one sided love and leaving her in weird yet funny downer scenes.  At one point she leaves the crime organization and joins the Planetary Defense Organization  and ends up living in the same house with Nyaruko and Mahiro.

Hasutaa – Hastur, malign wind god. 

The deity of wind and also childhood friends of Kuuko and Nyaruko but just so you know, It’s a Trap! Hasutaa is a guy despite his cute looks. Coming to earth in order to help his dad he quits his job at the library in order to search for someone his dad is looking for. It just so happens that Hasutaa’s dad was looking for Yoriko and thus starts a whole new part of the show that where Hasutaa falls in love with Mahiro.

So at this stage of the anime you I’m sure you can see what might happen but if not check it out.

Nyaruko Figma.

I’ve found this Figma to be fun to play with since they pulled all the best parts from the Nyaruko anime to the Figma. But like all Figmas Nyaruko does have some things you need to worry about like her crowbar if your not careful can break off and her grenade can be lose very easy. But out side that just watch out when your moving her shoulder joints since with that sleeve covering up the joint you might turn it the wrong way and break her arm off (like i did).

She doesn’t have a lot the way of accessories but if you’ve seen the anime you can make up for it in just pure imitation and she works with just about any other Figmas and their accessories.

Over all thought I would have to say that she’s in my top 10 Figmas and a must have if you have watched Haiyore! Nyaruko-san not to mention that there is a second season airing later this year as well. I would suggest to watch this series if you haven’t and check out the second season it’ll be worth it trust me! Oh and some wise words from Nyaruko.
