Would you go and change time to save your best friend or the love of your life? In Steins; Gate, Okabe Rinarou has to use D-mail to navigate the “world lines” in order to save his friends, but when crossing time you have to be careful because not everyone is the same person you once knew. Steins; Gate’s art was designed by HUKE who also created Black Rock Shooter.
These Figma’s are quite good not to mention I wasn’t expecting the slippers to come off either figure. Each figure was designed very well that it felt to bring out their character from the anime. There are some things I like to point out on these figures, Makise Kurisu’s hand accessories that make up her arm is very weird and don’t know why it didn’t come as one piece. Okabe’s hair piece is very small and should be handled with care because it’s easy to lose if dropped on carpet or in a library.

This year KT and I did two separate conventions so I wasn’t able to do interviews but I took a lot of photos. This year’s Anime Expo was the biggest attendance yet with, yes you guessed it, “Over 9000” anime, manga, game fans and cosplayers gathered together to show off their skilled costume or meet old and new friends. Also this year AX got a few bands and artist to perform at the convention. There was the Visual Kei concert that featured 3 bands/artist, Cell, Moon Stream and Kaya. Also performing was Porno Graffitti which is known for some Anime openings like one of the Fullmetal Alchemist and Magi opening. Here’s the third release of the Black Rock Shooter TV Figma line, Black Gold Saw. As you’ve noticed this review is very late from her release last month due to that I received a defective unit. The joint from her top half and torso was loose and wouldn’t stay together as a result would fall off after a period of time. Normally you could use a Elmers Glue fix by applying some glue into the joint hole then putting the plug in, let sit for about a day and it would tighten the joint. But in this case it wasn’t something that glue would fix so I contacted Ami Ami where I bought her to see if I might get a replacement (Read more…)

Once again we have the next installment of the Fate Extra but this time around they added in Gilgamesh as a playable character. The game play is still the same as before but with some improvements in the battle engine and game play. I haven’t really got to far into the story and since my Japanese is pretty bad doesn’t help me to really know the story line. But none the less it’s still fun to play and try to get what i’m doing by picking up some of the audio. But now to talk about the real reason why I bought this game, Bridal Saber. (Read more…)
After Accel World finished up a OVA came out were Haru and his friends are looking for the “network troublemaker”. In a nutshell they find themselves in an area of the net where they can not use their Burst Link forums but another version of them. When this anime first came out I didn’t really pay much attention to it since it didn’t sound all that great but now that I’ve watched it, I now suffer from a case of foot in mouth syndrome. Okay but first to give you an idea what this anime is about. Tachibabna Hibiki is to attend a concert with two idols Amou Kanade and Kazanari Tsubasa from Zwei Wings with her best friend Kohinata Miku but for family reasons can’t make it and leaves Hibiki to watch it alone. Nyaruko-san an anime based on the myths of Cthulhu and all of his minions invading earth for, yes you guessed it, earth entertainment but more importantly the Japanese entertainment.
