You might be wondering what in the world is a Mimobot. There is a very high chance you have seen one out in the wild already. Mimobots are designer USB flash drives made by the cool people at Mimoco. I got a chance to talk to Jessica from Mimoco about some of the cool stuff they have in store for 2013 (she was even nice enough to give us a few hints!). The Apple iPhone has such a large accessory market that it has it’s own section at CES called the iLounge. You can find iPhone cases in almost every conceivable shape or form in the iLounge, Android users need not apply. This is the first year where I have seen Android accessories start to pop up in the iLounge, most prominently the Samsung Galaxy S3. The Win-Top booth in particular caught my eye. It’s a wireless inductive charger for the S3 and Note 2 that doesn’t require you to use a different battery or battery cover. This is pretty important in the S3 because the NFC is actually located in the stock battery. Check out the video to see how it works!

In the age where having a cell phone is almost a must, many of us don’t take care of our phones as well as we should. I know that I am definitely one of those people. You always hear about these stories where a phone takes a swim in the bathtub or a shattered device because it fell off a desk. LifeProof is a device case maker and may have a solution for all of this! I got a chance to talk with Kyle from LifeProof to see their solutions for this common problem.

This is my favorite time of the year! The International Consumer Electronics Show is one of the largest trade shows that is run. Many consumer electronic companies are there to show off their new products for 2013. This is an industry only event and not open for the general public, lucky for you Ktdata.Net got to attend the show. A new year means a new year of cool gadget releases! The International Consumer Electronics Show (CES) is the show for all different electronic vendors to show off all the cool gadgets they will be releasing during the whole year. It’s a industry only event, so no public is allowed. Fear not! We here at Ktdata.Net got you covered. Check out the videos below of all the cool things that I saw on the trade show floor during day 1. The show takes up the entire Las Vegas Convention center and surrounding hotels so it is 4 days long! Believe me, 4 days is not enough to see everything! I wish I had a month to explore!
