Many of you might know that I’m heavily involved with my University’s Relay for Life. Right now we are less than 2 weeks away from the actual event and I’m getting excited for it. Over the past 6 months I have been working very hard with the rest of the committee to recruit teams and plan an amazing event. My current goal for this event right now is to try and raise some money. I have set a goal of trying to raise $100 and I would greatly appreciate it any of you could help.
Some people might be wondering what is the Relay for Life? The Relay isn’t a race, it’s a celebration for cancer survivors and represents all the stages a cancer patient goes through. During the Relay we aren’t racing, we have at least 1 of our team members on the track all the time. This relay goes over night, cancer never rests so we don’t either. It is an amazing event and I highly suggest you go to a relay near you to experience it if you have never gone to one before. With any luck I’ll be able to broadcast some of it on my live page so you can get a glimpse of what it is like.
Now I know that times right now are financially tough for many people so if you can’t donate any I totally understand. Just remember that any little bit helps. If you are interested in donating here the link to my personal page, help me get past that hump of $0 raised!

$5 now doesn’t seem like so much does it? I also want to tell you that if you donate to me before Monday you might win an iPod Shuffle too. Right now the committee is holding a contest for all relay members to see who can raise the most money online between now and Monday. The person who raises the most amount of money will win an iPod shuffle. If I win the iPod shuffle I will send it to a random person who donated to me! Not only will you be helping fight cancer but you could have a new way to listen to tunes! I mean what is there to loose right? Any kind of help I would greatly appreciate.

If any of you are in Utah and want to see Rocky Horror Picture Show for free come out on April 9th to the University of Utah! We are doing a benefit show in the OSH auditorium from 7-10PM. The show will be free but we will be taking any donations. If you need more details let me know!
