LittleBigKast – Episode 9: Drop That Salt Lick!

Zombies, zombies, and more zombies. Our Indie Game of the Week is the remaining episodes of Telltale game’s, The Walking Dead episode 2-5. Jeff and Rachel discuss some pretty virtually life-defining moments, while Drew well… Let’s just say he dropped the salt lick without hesitation. A couple of Comicon FanX adventures were shared, claps for Jeff because he gets to wait months for his college diploma in the mail, Drew opens his heart and admits to how he wants his students to succeed, and Rachel learns all she has to do to get a Playstation 4 is to donate a few smoke alarms to people in need of them. Dog barks and more, on the 9th episode, of the LittleBigKast.

LittleBigKast – Episode 7: Red headed disorder

Come one, come all, to the 7th episode of the LittleBigKast, our indie game of the week this week was Thomas Was Alone. This episode was recorded mid-day so we were all live, awake, and well caffeinated. Jeff starts this episode off with a tale of how a six-year-old sang a song to him about how having red hair is a disorder (Jeff has the reddest of hair), Rachel spent probably an hour too long trying to collect all of the dots in Thomas Was Alone, and well Drew… Drew doesn’t know what lady wood is, in fact, I don’t think any one really does. Oh, but all of this happens in just the first few minutes. Jeff also discusses the fun he has with C4 on vehicles in Battlefield, and also the gang discusses how “deep” Captain America: The Winter Soldier, really is. News topics were Amazon stealing the FIRE from Vita TV, how one member from Naughty Dog can hopefully turn around the popularity of Star Wars games, and so, so much more. Now just imagine yourself in a movie theater, and seeing a 6’5″ ginger running through to make the bathroom. You’re welcome for the image, enjoy!

LittleBigKast – Episode 6: Juice Sacks

What’s up everybody, welcome to the sixth episode of the LittleBigKast! This week’s Indie Game of the Week is Brothers: A Tale of Two Sons, and man was that game… dark. The game controls were so unique, and the story was definitely a tale we will never forget. What else is going on in our lives? Well, Rachel has started reading American Psycho, Jeff goes hard on some Infamous, and Drew plays Candy Crush to…. well…. “kill time.” Our news for the week deals with Playstation Plus’s new deals and releases for the month of April, discussion of The Last of Us coming out for the PS4, playing some old school PS1 and PS2 games on newer generation consoles, and a couple of other great stuff. So, sit back, relax, and listen to us laugh at ourselves.

Beware the Bear in Danganronpa: Trigger Happy Havoc

danganronpa_logo_white

Have you dreamed of being a great detective like Sherlock Holmes?  There is an allure to collecting clues, interviewing people and connecting the dots in an effort to figure out who was a perpetrator of a crime. NIS America has published a game that will let us play the role of the detective in Danganronpa: Trigger Happy Havoc.

In the game, you play Makoto Naegi, a regular student who was randomly drawn and invited to attend Hope’s Peak Academy. The school is renowned for being home to Japan’s “ultimate” students; students are enrolled by invitation only. On the first day of school Makoto and 14 of his classmates find themselves cut off from the outside world by an evil looking robot bear named Monokuma. The only way out of the school is for a student to kill a fellow classmate without anyone finding out they did it. Can the students figure out who is the person behind Monokuma and can they find a way out of the school without murdering each other?
