Another week has passed and once again the powers of the LBK Crew combined to create a memorable tidbit of audible pleasure for you. This week Jeff was hung up doing important things, so Drew, Robin and Rachel grabbed the helm and drove the ship into the deep.
We started by learning about the benefits of noise-canceling headphones, we got the real scoop about what Robin was doing in New Mexico and we learned that Rachel has a few gaming secrets. Imagine, there’s a game that Rachel has never played?!! She bares her soul wide. Drew reminisces about super exploding zoo after fighting through 80 levels of eye-popping-puzzler fun. After we cover all the important news items of the day we start exploring our feelings about ports, remakes and remasters. And somehow… no one really knows how it happened… we made it through the whole show without mentioning the D-word.

What’s up everybody?! The whole gang is back around the table, along with Drew Tyler’s infamous “Fedini”. Jeff has been preoccupied with work, and has also been in California getting lost in the magical world of E3. Jeff shares his experiences, and talks a lot about the Guerrilla Game’s upcoming Horizon. So yes- this episode may have a little less Destiny than normal, but don’t you fret, the Guardians are still mentioned. Drew talks about his award-winning movie that he worked so hard on for 48 hours. Rachel doesn’t win anything because her movie sucked, and she is still looking for a job (in a few months she may give in to stripping). Robin is officially free for the summer, and we find our that her high scores on her games, may not be her high scores. What other ramblings go on in this episode? I guess it’s up to you to find out!

I’m officially going to unpredict everything I want to happen. Next year, Half Life 3 is TOTALLY not going to be launched. Nuh uh, no way. (See that defensive pessimism I was talking about? Hmm?)
This E3 conference may be the stuff of legend. Sony’s session drove stock prices up for many if not all the companies mentioned, but, forget the stock prices; we were promised the lure of nostalgia and the glorious future of Sony all in one sitting.
Jeff raced to his E3 hotel to prep for the people he’d meet (he met Shuhei Yoshida!) and the videos he’d take at the show (check them out through Patreon) and connected just in time to chime in with all five of us.
Our loves at Sony didn’t disappoint us.
From Jeff almost getting murdered by a shady cab driver to Rachel lamenting her predictions (for only the Sony session!), we give you our most candid opinions and hilarity as only we can bring you. Oh, and if you want to watch me freak out completely and cry, jump to the Final Fantasy VII Remake reveal.
