Come one, come all, to the 56th episode of the LittleBigKast. This episode had absolutely NO mistakes, and recording went smoothly and perfectly. (This is a lie, and only our Twitch watchers know the truth.) On this episode, Robin has been transformed into a man named Glenn! AKA she’s out of town and Glenn is substituting. However, Glenn brought a hamburger cake because RACHEL TURNED 22, YAY. Jeff goes on possibly the shortest Destiny rant ever recorded, but he is still interrupting every so often. Drew goes on a romantic date to Gamestop, and Glenn has the highest Witcher character out of all of us. Our Indie Game is Road Not taken, and oh– FALLOUT 4. Welcome everybody.

Field trips, Mad Max, Witcher 3, and marathon running? Yes. The answer to that question is yes.
The love of all things gaming permeate through the week’s activities for the Kast. Robin and Drew reminisce fondly about running the dreaded relay marathon in the middle of a freakin’ downpour and all the people running off to pee in the woods, Jeff loses his mind about the House of Wolves expansion, and we expose Rachel as not knowing all the lyrics to the “Duck Tales” theme song.
Our Indie Game of the Week is the ever-entertaining Rogue Legacy. Want to know what we thought about it? Zip over to 40:48 to hear Drew sing…and talk about the game, too. I even give backup jazz hands.
In an impressive feat, the whole Kast all attended an exclusive screening (not really, it was $5 Tuesdays at the theater) of Mad Max: Fury Road and we all agreed it was all that and a bag of warm, buttery popcorn. We then retired to all play Witcher 3 and compare progress in the game. Yes, ladies and gentlemen, this is our summer lives (not really, but we can dream).

“Knock, knock.”
“Who’s there?”
“Interrupting Ginger.”
“Interrupting Ginger wh-”
“DESTINY!”
Oh yes, it’s the ever-indomitable Robin bringing you the glory of the LittleBigKast this week. Don’t get us wrong, we love our token ginger, he just gets excited and can’t stop talking. Lucky for me, I constantly have “Don’t Stop Believin'” by Journey on constant loop in my head. If you see my eyes glaze over at any point, you’ll know I’m just about to hit the chorus on my internal playlist.
Drew and I veer a little off topic with running stuff but jump right back into our insatiable love of games while Jeff just Jeffs all over the place. Rachel is transformed into 16oz of RedBull and keeps the party going in her newly-caffinated form. We have oodles of news about Assassins Creed: Syndicate, 13-year-old tantrums, and Witcher 3 along with new releases and a healthy dose of commentary.

In this episode Drew gets sweaty, Robin learns to run from ebooks and Rachel takes her relationship to a whole new portal. Jeff keeps playing Destiny and binges Daredevil. We speculate on Hideo Kojima’s exit from Konami and what it means for Silent Hills and the removal of P.T. from PSN. We make some comparisons on the newly released size of the Witcher III map. It’s rumored to be 3.5 times larger than the Skyrim world! Along with all of our silly bantering and chit-chattery we even talk about the free games coming to Playstation Plus in the month of May. Lots of stuff for the PS4 this month!

All together now! So many great things happen on this episode. Jeff and Rachel still hope for Drew to get a Playstation 4, and with each passing day, he is getting closer… But, what will he have to do to earn it? Rachel explains to the guys what hashtag: PSL is. As for Jeff, well, he just wants other level 27’s to join him on his Destiny journey. Also joining us is the infamous Glenn with his very own Gaems, read about the machine here.

In 2004 Tales of Symphonia was released to North America (NA) on the Nintendo Gamecube, four years later Tales of Symphonia Dawn of the New World was released for the Nintendo Wii, and now 10 years later the Playstation 3 got a HD re-release of both games on a physical and digital format (2). Since there are two games in one I’ll just discuss one at a time.
